Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Julia Johnson State Farm Agent in Federal Way, WA is looking for a bilingual fluent English/Spanish speaker to immediately fill a position of Customer Service Representative. The chosen candidate must be driven, have great communications skills (oral and written) and must be looking for a career and not just a job. There is no insurance experience required for this job, but the right candidate must be ready to learn, work hard, be a team player with the commitment to our customers and our business growth. The ideal candidate must have a customer service background who thrives in a fast-paced working environment, have the ability to cross-sell, be a multi-tasker, be detail oriented and have experience dealing with a diverse demographic group. To successfully perform all duties under this position, the candidate must obtain the Washington State Property and Casualty Insurance License within the first 30 days from employment - the chosen candidate must expect to study and prepare to pass the exam.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Policy and account maintenance activities Provide prompt, accurate, and a remarkable customer service experience to our customers. Handle insurance policy change requests, process coverage changes, answer basic claims related questions, and accurately respond to premium changes and billing accounts inquiries.
  • Inside-sales activities
    • Make outbound calls to our existing customers and set up sales appointments for Sales Team and Agent
    • Make outbound calls to our existing customers identifying additional sales opportunities and picking up leads by cross selling to our existing customers
    • Identify needs for insurance and financial services in your daily interactions with our customers following our sales processes
Qualifications and Skills
· Must be bilingual English/Spanish, with high verbal and writing communication skills in both languages.
· Must be ready to study and pass the exam to obtain the required Washington Property and Casualty Insurance License within first 30 days of employment.
· Must have strong organizational skills, time management skills and be detailed oriented.
· Must have enthusiasm to learn, apply and implement successfully
· Must have the willingness to further your professional development through coaching and mentorship
· Be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently as part of a team
· Be confident using Windows based softwares such as Microsoft Office and Outlook and have the ability to quickly learn other proprietary softwares used in our daily operations.

Compensation $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
